Watermelon – it is, without a doubt, the summer treat. If apples, for example, we can eat almost all year round, and even strawberries, if desired can easily be bought in the supermarket in any season, this berry appears in our diet in Midsummer and leaves it when the autumn comes into its own.
Watermelon has a sweet refreshing taste, this is very tasty and healthy dessert. He copes well with the cleansing function of the kidneys, than improves the health of the organism as a whole. Its use is recommended for people suffering from kidney stones, and women wishing to get pregnant. Watermelon not only removes from the body toxins, but also enriches it with folic acid - a substance which promotes conception. And this berry helps to lose weight. It contains virtually no calories, and due to the high sugar content helps to create a saturation effect. However, to get carried away watermelon diet longer than one week is impossible.
