In a food processor or large bowl mix the flour, salt, baking powder and ground cumin, mix well until fully combining the ingredients. Add butter and beat at high speed until it is completely dissolved.

Mix the milk and molasses, stir until dissolved. Gradually add this mixture to the dough and beat with a mixer or stir with a spatula or spoon (wooden).

On a floured table or other surface knead the dough until homogeneous mass. It will be a little sticky. You can add flour as needed. Divide the dough into two balls, cover with plastic wrap and leave it on for 30 minutes.

After the roll out all the balls of dough in small rectangles to the thickness of a few millimeters. Using a cookie cutter or pizza, slice it into long strips and then across into squares. If you want you can make the cookies-a cracker shape.

Brush the dough lightly with the beaten egg and sprinkle with cumin. Carefully press the seeds into crackers, prick them with a fork.
