Prepare peasant soup

A Traditional and very common Russian national dish-soup. Ironically, it appeared in Russia not so long ago-in the 19th century when farms began to grow cabbage.   6. A Few nuances. Some prefer to take sauerkraut and fresh cabbage in half. But still, your soup should be sour traditional taste, otherwise it will no longer be soup. Some prefer the grated carrots and chopped onions lightly fry in a pan in vegetable oil before you throw these ingredients in a saucepan. Some carrots prefer not to RUB and cut into pieces. And, by the way, instead of potatoes in the old versions of the recipe used turnips – well, that's, if quite ancient!
